Reduced from £25 to £14.99 because some of the bottles are getting natural crystalisation on the underside of the corks. This is tartaric acid and potassium forming “wine diamlonds” due to colder temperatures, which only happens in real wines made with minimal intervention. Factory produced wines are usually cold stabilised as part of the production process which removes these elements. They are harmless and tasteless, however due to the wine also being unfiltered they can bind to natural sediment so it leaves a gunky substance at the bottle neck which needs extra care to avoid. I basically stick a finger in the bottle neck to clear it, you can of course use a bit of kitchen roll or similar. I will be standing the bottles upright for storage in the warehouse to minimise any deposits around the neck but it may take a week or two for these to fall and dissolve back in to the wine. The wine is still lovely and smooth, more savoury than fruit driven. So long as you are aware of the issue you can grab a bargain while stocks last!
