Description Arboleda Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the esteemed Aconcagua Valley in Chile, a region celebrated for its optimal conditions for cultivating premium red varietals. The 2020 vintage is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Syrah, sourced from the Las Vertientes zone on the western side of the valley. This area benefits from a cool coastal influence, imparting freshness and balance to the wine. The grapes undergo fermentation and are aged for 14 months in oak barrels, with one-third of the barrels being new oak, contributing to the wine’s complexity and depth. On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of black currant, blueberry, and subtle floral notes, intertwined with hints of tobacco and spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, showcasing flavors of ripe dark fruits, complemented by a touch of oak and a smooth, velvety texture. The tannins are well-integrated, providing structure without overpowering the fruit character. With an alcohol content of 14%, Arboleda Cabernet Sauvignon offers a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity, and oak influence. This wine is versatile, pairing excellently with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and rich pasta dishes. Whether enjoyed now or cellared for a few years, it promises a rewarding experience for wine enthusiasts seeking a refined expression of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon.
