Kaya coconut jam is an almost toffee-like coconut spread or coconut curd – delicious eaten with a spoon or spread on toast. In fact it is so popular in Malaysia and Singapore that coconut jam on toast is known as ‘kaya toast’. The spread is often enjoyed for breakfast, but also throughout the day. Ingredients: Sugar (40%), coconut milk powder (27%), egg, salt, thickener E415, colours: E102 and E110. E102 and E110 may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
